Strictly 2K to take patrons back to school
As the year winds down, one can easily see the festive season on the horizon and as such, the organisers of Strictly 2K -- Best of the 2000s have announced that the event will be held on December 29.
Arguably the best millennial-themed event, Strictly 2K is usually one of the most anticipated events on the party calendar, and this December should be no different.
With the event slated to return to Mas Camp, the organisers, ZJ Chrome and Jamrock Entertain-ment Management (JEM), have tweaked things a little.
While still in keeping with the 2000s era of music, Chrome shared that this edition will be dubbed 'class party'.
"The last event, we brought the jersey theme to life, as that was really big back in the 2000s. The patrons really came out rocking their favourite throwback jerseys and that made [a] big impact on the event," Chrome said. "This time around, we want to heighten the fashion nostalgia with class party."
IB Konteh, JEM's communication director, echoed Chrome's sentiments, sharing that the organisers are excited to see the fashion at this staging.
"The idea of class party takes us back to our days in school, so we are actually looking for patrons to come out in their most fashionable variation of uniforms. We want to see patrons representing their alma mater," Konteh said.
Both Chrome and Konteh said that this staging will really have patrons feeling like they were back in high school attending a class party.
