Chris Marshall finds Spanglish hit

Dancehall artiste Chris Marshall is pleased with the reaction to his latest single, Tu y Yo, alongside Brazilian singer-songwriter Anitta.

The song was released on April 5 and has already generated 8.6 million views on YouTube.

The catchy Spanglish (Spanish and English) song is the latest in a line of bilingual collaborations which fuse the musical styles of artistes to tap into the world of Latin music.

Marshall is currently signed to independent label Rich Music Inc.

The artiste, whose given name is Adrian Christopher Marshall, was born and raised in St Catherine Jamaica. He grew up surrounded by music, from jamming at home with his family to exploring the country's many dance halls.
