Record producer Scarpio is gearing up to release a slew of new music in 2019 under his label, Soniclinks Production.

According to the producer, the aim of the label is to create unique content.

Soniclinks has been working with recording artistes like Tarnado, Kibaki, Rhyming King, Shaka Pow and Ganggoolie, and Scarpio hopes 2019 will be the outfit's breakout year.

"Fans can always expect the unexpected when it comes to our productions, songwriting, music videos, and just our work ethic. Since we started it has been a little challenging, but we have found ways to deal with all challenges, knowing that nothing good comes easy. We are trying to stand out, but trying something new takes even more effort," he said.

Scarpio also believes much of the local productions are lacking in longevity, hence producers should spend more time perfecting their art.

"The Internet is good, but it also undermines creativity because the music is so easily accessible, people don't take the time to appreciate it. I want to make persons feel a sense of freshness when they hear a rhythm from Soniclinks Production ... timeless music like the legends used to make," he said.

The producer is currently celebrating the success of the label's 'Star Apple' rhythm, which climbed the charts in Kenya.

He is also working on the 'Channel One' rhythm, which is expected to feature Bounty Killer, among others.
