A witness in the trial of Everton 'Beachy Stout' McDonald testified that he was instructed to get rid of an illegal weapon and to destroy six cellular phones shortly after the businessman's wife was killed.

Two of the destroyed phones were purportedly McDonald's personal phones, while another two belonged to Denvalyn 'Bubbla' Minnott, the contract killer who pleaded guilty to the Tonia McDonald's murder.

He was sentenced to 19 years and 10 months in prison.

The witness, who described himself as McDonald's right-hand man, testified that in the week following Tonia's murder, the businessman gave him a gun.

..." and say get rid a dis mi nuh have nuh no need fi dis or something like dat," the witness recalled McDonald saying.

The witness explained that he placed the gun inside a backpack, and asked his now ex-boss what to do with it, to which McDonald allegedly replied "throw it over sea".

The witness also remember collecting two additional phones from 'Bubbla' within two weeks after Tonia's murder and he destroyed them.

According to the witness, he was never given any reason by McDonald for destroying the phones.

McDonald and his co-accused Oscar Barnes are on trial for the July 2020 murder of Tonia McDonald, 'Beachy Stout's' second wife.

Tonia's burnt body was found with it's throat slashed in her car which had been set ablaze along a deserted road in Sherwood Forest in Portland.
