With patrons on a high and dancehall music blaring from speaker boxes at Hennessy Boss birthday celebrations, here comes the 'blue light', which usually signals it's time to go home. The security forces these days are in a no-nonsense mood with adherence to COVID-19 control protocols under the Disaster Risk Management Act. The party, which was held atop the roof of the Cookies Night Club, along Port Henderson Road in Portmore, St Catherine, got off to a late start.

Discjocks Harry Shotta, Wicked Foot, and Bumpy Cash had the crowd in a musical trance as the selectors mixed the various eras of the dancehall to good effect. However, just when things were swinging into action, the event had to end. Parties cannot be held beyond 10 p.m., which is one hour before the national late-night curfew starts.

Here are the highlights.
