Laughter promised at Christmas Comedy Cook-Up

Another end-of- year serving of fun and cheer is promised as the next staging of Ellis International’s calendar event, Christmas Comedy Cook-Up, returns to The Jamaica Pegasus on Boxing Day.

Consistently hilarious Leighton Smith and Dufton Shepherd, are expected to bring the goodies at this year’s 15th edition of the annual show.

Other performers include big names in local comedy including Christopher ‘Johnny’ Daley, Ity and Fancy Cat, Blakka Ellis and Kathy Grant.

Special guests, California-based Jamaican comedian Miranda Melhado and returning crowd favourite, the hilarious Ghanaian-Canadian Trixx will add the international flavour.

A naturally gifted entertainer, Trixx has been blessed with the enviable talent of being able to connect with his audience, regardless of race, age or gender, and he is one of the most sought after performers for various events and comedy stages across Canada, New York, Boston, and London, England.

An avid student of pop culture and observer of life, Trixx offers his unique, fresh and witty perspective on anything and everything, from relationships to race relations, and the hard truths of day-to-day life.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7:30 p.m.
